A table football table is the unlikely object on display at the INPACS stand.

Four men were already playing enthusiastically on the machine early on the first day, and several more were queuing up to take their turn.

"We are running a mini-tournament," explained marketing manager Horst Rose. "Since this is World Cup year and our ceo is a big soccer fan, we thought we would hold a table football competition."

INPACS, which bills itself as a "one-stop solution provider for cleaning, hygiene, food catering disposables and personal protective equipment", now has more than 30 members. The aim of the company's ISSA/Interclean presence is to celebrate its 10th anniversary while also promoting its service and creating a platform for its members, partners and customers to meet.

"The table football tournament simply provides a way in which our visitors can socialise and have fun," said Rose. Footballs were given away to competitors and a trophy will be given out to the winning team in the tournament.
