Organisers of Interclean Istanbul have announced the programme for the Healthcare Cleaning Forum MENA Regional Conference, which will take place alongside the cleaning exhibition.

The conference will take place over two days on April 10 and 11. Day one will feature five expert speakers. Professor Emine Alp, Turkey's deputy minister of health, will talk about infection prevention and control in the region; Professor Didier Pittet will present a practical healthcare cleaning model in WHO Clean Care is Safe Care; Alexandra Peters will focus on the Clean Hospitals initiative; Dr Jon Otter will help professionals count the cost and value of hospital cleaning and disinfection; and Ermira Tartari will share data on international approaches to cleaning and disinfection.

On the second day there will be two workshops encouraging delegates to discover more about some of the topics covered during the first day. The first workshop's title is WHO My 5 Moments for Hand Hygiene and will be led by Professor Didier Pittet and Ermira Tartari. The second one will be Cleaning and Hygiene, Cost and Value, led by Dr Jon Otter and Alexandra Peters.
