New on the Gojo stand are two heavy-duty hand cleansers based on natural fruit products.

The Natural hand cleaner is made from apricot stones while the Olive cleanser incorporates ground olive stones.

"We are putting a greater focus on improving the perception of hand cleansing in the industrial sector," said Gojo's trade marketing and communications manager Kerrie Doughty.

"Meanwhile, we are discovering that this sector is increasingly concerned about the environment. "These natural-based products contain no harsh chemicals - and - it is now becoming more or less expected to come up with sustainable products."

Developed for removing substances such as oil and grease from the hands, both products are housed in rugged dispensers in a dark grey housing to appeal to the industrial market.

A raft of new products will be launched in the near future following the company's tie-up with Laboratoires Prodene Klint, promises Doughty. "We have really started to develop the category and will be bringing out new products such as ant-graffiti wipes," she said.

Also being launched on the Gojo stand were new Purell Surface Sanitising Spray and Wipes for use in food contact areas. And the company was also promoting its Smartlink Service Alerts System for preventative maintenance plus the Smartlink Observation system. This delivers reports on hand hygiene and personal protective clothing compliance.
