German cleaning book addresses management issues

A new German language book focusing on cleaning management has been written by Irina Pericin Häfliger, a lecturer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

The book -  Cleaning Management/Reinigungsmanagement - examines how cleanliness is perceived and how high-cost and labour-intensive cleaning can be performed optimally and sustainably. The author uses management methods to address those issues, combining business management knowledge with practical expertise and experience of cleaning management.

The reference book combines around 200 concrete examples in figures, checklists and tables. Basic understanding of cleaning services is the central topic of the first part of the book. In the second part Pericin presents practical assistance to cleaning organisations by using her own management model.

Published by Neuer Merkur, Cleaning Management/Reinigungsmanagement costs 49.90 euros and can be ordered online: www.fachbuchdirekt.de
