Michel de Bruin, ceo of Netherlands-based microfibre specialist Greenspeed, has been appointed to the position of vice-chairman of the ISSA European Council.

De Bruin will also continue to represent the interests of the Benelux region on the industry association's council.

He commented on his appointment: "ISSA has much to offer everyone in all sectors of the cleaning and facilities care industry. I am committed to working with ISSA to further develop understanding of the value of cleaning and more generally pushing ahead with new initiatives to change the way the world as a whole views cleaning."
