Hygiene, workwear and fire safety system provider CWS in Germany is to acquire the cleanroom cleaning service provider Profi-con via its CWS Cleanroom business unit. This follows the takeover of cleanroom laundry company Staxs in late 2019.

With its headquarters in Leipzig, Profi-con specialises in the cleaning of dust-free and sterile rooms, such as those used in the microelectronics or pharmaceutical industry. It employs around 200 people and all the business' locations will be retained.
