British Cleaning Council celebrates 30 years
22nd of March 2012The British Cleaning Council - the umbrella body covering associations and trade bodies for the professional cleaning industry - has celebrated its 30th anniversary with a reception at the Houses of Parliament in London.
The event was led by Mark Woodhead, BCC chairman, who drew attention to its achievements since 1982, while looking at some of the recent changes aimed at strengthening the membership criteria, lobbying and the grants process.
Speakers included an MP and economics commentator. Woodhead concluded: "For the British Cleaning Council to be celebrating its 30 year anniversary is a remarkable achievement, and I am delighted that so many of the people who have made a contribution over the years were able to attend."
