BICSc to deliver dynamic demonstrations at Interclean Amsterdam
13th of April 2026Specialists from the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) are set to deliver dynamic demonstrations at Interclean Amsterdam, which opens tomorrow.
Experts from the Institute will share specialist skills via a range of interactive, immersive sessions throughout the four-day event.
The focus for the presentations will be the hospitality and healthcare sectors. The Hospitality Experience is in Hall 8 and the Healthcare Experience is in Hall 12.
Kelsey Hargreaves, BICSc technical manager and Samantha Willson, business development manager will be heading up activities at the Hospitality Experience - staging detailed demonstrations on how to clean an array of areas such as gyms, hotels, washrooms and kitchens.
At the Healthcare Experience, meanwhile, Amelia Amesbury, assistant technical specialist and Denise Hanson, commercial director, will be demonstrating tasks healthcare workers complete every day such as bed cleaning, waste bin cleaning, toilet cleaning and much more.
The healthcare demonstrations will include high and mid level cleaning developments alongside a suite of sessions covering everything from how to navigate a bodily fluids spill, setting up a trolley, to wheelchair cleaning in a bid to ensure patients and staff stay safe in medical environments.
Group managing director of BICSc Neil Spencer-Cook explained: "All of the BICSc-led demonstrations are designed to be educational and engaging with the team encouraging interactive audience participation at the end of every session, which gives visitors the opportunity to show off their skills or learn something new."
