The Irish Contract Cleaning Association (ICCA) presented its annual awards in Dublin recently, with Aramark named as Overall Winner for the Best Cleaned Contract in Ireland for its contract at Genzyme in Waterford.

Chairman of ICCA David Hogan commented during the ceremony: "These awards provide a benchmark for quality within the industry. Over recent years, the contract cleaning industry has experienced many positive changes as both the industry and all those operating within it strive to provide continued excellence in customer service, while consistently developing and training staff.

"The importance of recognising and rewarding people working behind the scenes is key to the industry’s continued success and the ICCA awards are the perfect opportunity to commend staff for their achievements during the year."

Erika Druskeviciene from National Support Services was named Cleaner of the Year, while the Supervisor of the Year prize went to Laurentiu Axinte. The Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to Chris Delaney of Noonan Services Group.

Also among those picking up awards were Grosvenor Services and ISS Facility Services.
