The British Cleaning Council (BCC) and the UK's Cleaning and Maintenance (C&M) magazine are to host a week of free webinars looking at the work of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the UK cleaning and hygiene industry.

APPG Webinar Week will run from Monday June 7 to Friday June 11 and comprise four different discussions involving senior industry figures - all looking at different aspects of the APPG's work - and a final panel session answering submitted questions.

The discussions will include:

• Monday June 7, 2pm: What is the APPG for the UK Cleaning and Hygiene Industry? With Stephen Kerr.

• Tuesday June 8, 2pm: The challenge of establishing key worker status for cleaning operatives. With Paul Thrupp, chairman of the BCC.

• Wednesday June 9, 2pm: Apprenticeships and training. With Delia Cannings, BCC director and national lead for education & training, the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (ahcp)

• Thursday June 10, 2pm: Brexit, immigration and employment. With Jim Melvin, deputy chairman of the BCC and director, the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA)

• Friday June 11: Questions from the audience to the panel.
