Activeion Cleaning Solutions, which marketed a chemical-free cleaning system using only water around Europe and the rest of the world, has ceased trading.

A statement on the company website said: "Regrettably, while many customers continue to be satisfied with Activeion solutions, the business has been unable to achieve commercial viability during this time, and has exhausted its funding.

"We continue to strongly believe in the technology, and anticipate that the underlying technology will revolutionise the way the world cleans."
