Thinner gauge waste sacks from Cromwell21st of May 2013
Cromwell Polythene has extended its clinical waste range with the introduction of a thinner gauge sack. The orange sacks are for the collection and disposal of infectious and potentially infectious waste by a licensed or permitted facility.
The 40 micron bag, which has a 90 litre capacity and 11 kgs design weight, has passed all the tests for bulk transport, including the additional dart impact and tear resistance tests. It is also compliant with the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).
The use of star seal technology has allowed a less formed shape, maximising carrying capacity and optimising leak resistance.
The use of thinner gauge materials allows the new bag to meet all the requirements of ADR2013, which came into force at the beginning of the year.
