Sniffing out the fragrances in cleaning products - take part in our ECJ survey

European Cleaning Journal (ECJ) has got together with trade association IFRA UK to survey readers who are manufacturers of cleaning, washroom, air-care and other fragranced goods. The aim - to find out more about attitudes to the use of fragrance.

Fragrance is one of the most important yet invisible ingredients in our lives. Whether in our homes, on our bodies, or in the washroom, we are increasingly aware of the role that fragrance plays in our lives.

There has been an upturn in sales of household scents and laundry products. Consumers are growing ever more conscious of the fragrances around them.

If follows that those who are responsible for cleaning public or commercial buildings also seem to be taking greater note of the role that fragrance plays. Some establishments, notably hotels and retailers, even have signature scents to distinguish them from the competition and enhance the customer experience.

IFRA UK is the trade association which represents the fragrance houses - the companies that use their creativity and scientific expertise to create the fragrances that are used in a host of cleaning products and other fragranced goods. At ECJ, we are keen to know more about our readers' attitudes to the use of fragrance in manufactured goods for our sector.

There are just seven questions in the survey. If you would like to take part simply email marie@europeancleaningjournal.com for a copy of the questionnaire.
