TRU Global Solutions - the Belgian expert in cleanroom cleaning and 2022 Start-Up of the Year at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards - has opened a new office in Switzerland.

Founder and CEO Vanessa Morini decided to specialise from the beginning - focusing exclusively on the critical cleaning of cleanrooms and related equipment.

"Cleanroom cleaning is fundamentally different from conventional cleaning," she explained. "It's about more than just wiping down surfaces. Invisible contaminants can lead to costly product recalls, production delays, and can pose serious health risks to patients. Our employees are
highly-trained specialists who work according to the strictest GMP standards and international guidelines."

"Many companies still use standard cleaners or even their own employees for their cleanroom cleaning," says Manuel Schu?tte, the facility management expert appointed as CEO of TRU Switzerland AG. "Not only is this inefficient, it's also risky. Our clients can focus fully on their core activities while we ensure a contamination-free production environment."

Since its foundation in 2019, TRU has become the market leader in the Benelux and also recently expanded to the US. The business has more than 100 employees and serves clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, including VWR Avantor and Ghent University Hospital.

The new Swiss office is based in Basel, a hub of the European pharmaceutical industry.
