BOMA Group, the Belgium-based professional cleaning and hygiene products producer and distributor, has entered an agreement with private equity firm IK Partners. The IK X Fund will invest in the business and partner with the existing management team, who will retain a significant stake.

Operating throughout the Benelux and France since 1974, the company sells through its own brands BOMA and Greenspeed. Under the leadership of owners Luc Bresseleers and Stijn Wildiers, the company has also expanded geographically and made several acquisitions. Now the plan is to explore further acquisitions and strengthen its position in Europe.

Luc Bresseleers, co-owner and chief executive officer of BOMA Group said, "We look forward to working closely with the team at IK to ensure that BOMA strengthens its position as a market leader in the professional cleaning sector on a European scale. We are confident that together we can ensure further growth and strategic expansion for the benefit of our customers and stakeholders."
