Lune developed its new Bubble bin in conjunction with the Berlin city waste department in Germany. With a capacity of 360 litres this stainless steel, spherical bin is between six and 10 times larger than a conventional outdoor waste bin. Which means fewer collections and cost savings of up to 30 per cent says the company.
The Bubble is 100 per cent recyclable and is emptied by one person using a vacuum which literally sucks the waste from the bin.
