10th of June 2016London cleaning company The Clean Space has been included on The Leap 100 2016 - a list of the 100 most exciting, fast-growth companies in the UK.
All the companies selected have demonstrated substantial growth over the past 12 months and been identified as the ‘ones to watch' for 2016.
Charlie Mowat, the founder and md of The Clean Space has been included on this year's list. Launched in 2003 based on the principles of fair treatment for staff, the company has grown to €6.8m turnover - up 25 per cent from last year.
Mowat commented: "Inclusion in the Leap 100 for 2016 is a huge achievement for us as a business but is also a major step for the industry as a whole. No other cleaning company has been included in the Leap 100 before.
"I want to make cleaners more visible to people in general, to make people more aware of their hard work that is often overlooked. This will help us in that goal."
The Leap 100 companies, which range in terms of scale and sector, were chosen because of their growth potential and ability to make the leap to the next level in terms of revenue. The list was launched by London business publication City AM and law firm Mishcon de Reya.
