Vectair delivers urgent supplies to the frontline

Vectair Systems is helping to distribute and deliver urgent supplies to the frontline during the coronavirus crisis, with large quantities of its Sanitex® MVP Soap refills and Sanitex® Instant Hand Gel arriving at the new NHS Nightingale Hospital in April.
The NHS Nightingale in east London's ExCel centre can hold as many as 4,000 patients and is the first of the Government's emergency field hospitals to treat people with coronavirus. The NHS are currently having to use high quantities of equipment to protect staff and combat the virus as it spreads. However, the coronavirus epidemic is generating unprecedented global demand on the supply chain, combined with manufacturing slowdown in affected countries.
Paul Wonnacott, managing director and president at Vectair Systems, says: "We have been working hard to ensure that we can keep providing the important products that the NHS so desperately needs, and I am so proud of our operations team who have been keeping the warehouse going to support our customers in this unprecedented time. From the moment the Nightingale Hospital requested our soap, we managed to deliver it onsite within 48 hours."
Vectair's Sanitex® MVP Soap cartridges are single-use refills that are tightly sealed to ensure no soap is contaminated in use. In busy hospital wards where soap and water isn't available, Vectair's Sanitex® Instant Hand Gel - which contains more than 70% alcohol content - can help reduce the number of germs on hands. Both the soap and hand gel can be dispensed from Vectair's durable Sanitex® dispensers, which Vectair have donated to the hospital for free.
