Greenspeed is understandably excited about its new Probio Tabs, which transform tiny tablets into a ready-to-use probiotic cleaner spray.

"They are 100 per cent single-use plastic free," enthuses the company's commercial director Johan Tops. "You dilute them with 300ml of water and the spray then lasts for up to three months. We don't think there are any other probiotic products like this on the market."

Probio Tabs come in two versions: a washroom cleaner and a product for general cleaning.

"This is the first time Greenspeed has come up with a super concentrated product of this kind," said Tops. "It can help a company achieve CO2 reductions of up to 99 per cent in terms of transport and shelf space. And it also avoids the need for any unnecessary transport of water."

Probio Tabs are plant-based with other added ingredients. According to Tops, probiotics offer many benefits. "For instance, they provide a deeper clean and they also offer odour control," he said.

Also on the Greenspeed stand are microfibres cloths, bizarrely suspended in mid-air like small pastel-coloured ghosts. These are Re-Belle cloths which are made from 100 per cent recycled raw materials.

"Re-Belle products are highly sustainable," said Tops. "They come in plastic-free packaging and require the use of minimal water. And they can be washed and reused around 500 times, after which they are collected and recycled."
