A company has developed a washable keyboard designed to help office workers combat the multitude of germs lurking among the keys.

The Logitech K310 keyboard allows the hygiene-conscious among us to run it under the tap and get rid of all that fluff, hair and bits of food from lunches eaten at the desk.

For those who like to do a job properly, the keyboard will also withstand being submersed 30 cm of hot soapy water.

The water runs through drainage holes in the back and, because the keys are laser printed, they won't fade.
