Vebego Germany signs Diversity Charter

Facilities services provider Vebego Germany has reinforced its commitment to diversity, equal opportunities and family-friendly policies by signing the Diversity Charter and joining the "Success Factor Family" network. These steps form part of the company's broader strategy to foster a more inclusive workplace culture.

The business - which employs 8,000 people - is currently focusing on integrating individuals distant from the labour market and promoting gender equality in leadership roles. Efforts to improve work-life balance include mobile working without prior approval, part-time roles for managers and access to health services such as mental health coaching.

"Our measures are aimed at supporting the realities of our employees' lives while taking into account the demands of our industry," said Sylke Sergel, chief people & culture officer. "This includes not only allowing difference but using it in a targeted manner."

To monitor progress, Vebego uses a range of HR tools and conducts regular employee feedback surveys. The company also participates in high-profile events such as Pride Month and the Corporate Diversity Summit to signal its stance both internally and externally.

These initiatives form part of an ongoing strategy to embed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the company's operations. According to Vebego, this approach is not only aligned with employee needs but also intended to support long-term business resilience.
