The prize-giving ceremony for this year's European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards, organised by ECJ, took place in Berlin last week. You can see all the photographs from the event at the awards website - click here to visit.

The awards, which recognise standards of excellence in the professional cleaning industry, are the only pan-European awards for the sector. With over 100 entries this year, 36 leading service providers, manufacturers and distributors made the shortlist across ten categories.

The winners were:

• Rising star: Ben Swinbourne, Principle Cleaning Services

The date for the 2019 awards dinner is October 17, and the venue will be London - at Church House in Westminster.
