Sweden's Almega Tjänsteföretagen (the Service Employer Association) and Vårdföretagarna (The Association for Private Care Providers) have signed a new collective agreement with the Real Estate Employees' Association for cleaning work under their own auspices.

The agreement is applicable until October 31 2025, with a total cost frame of 7.4 per cent.

"It is positive that we have signed another agreement where everything fits within the framework that the parties have previously agreed on," said Sara Ejdeskog, responsible for contracts for Vårdföretagarna.

"Together we have created a good labour market during the contract negotiations," commented Almega, "but above all every day in the workplace in conversations between entrepreneurs and employees."
