UK and Ireland network of independent janitorial and cleaning distributors Jangro is partnering with product manufacturer SYR in a new sustainability initiative. The new project is designed to strengthen Jangro's existing Circular programme.

Jangro Circular aims to reduce waste by keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible. As a manufacturer of plastic products, SYR also strives for a circular economy.

So the two companies have created a hassle-free system for the disposal of old plastic cleaning tools and buckets that are worn or need to be replaced. Customers can simply return them to their nearest Jangro depot or arrange for them to be picked up by a Jangro distributor. They are then collected by SYR to be recycled - keeping this ‘would-be' waste in circulation, transforming it into new products and reducing the amount of virgin plastic needed.
