The Spanish professional cleaning event Hygienalia will take place in Madrid from November 4-6 - with a conference taking place alongside the trade exhibition.

On November 4 the agenda will feature activities organised by the industry associationsAFELIN and ISSA, along with a presentation from Adriana Martín, project manager at IGM Management, who will present digital management software for facility services. Then Carmen Donet from Christeyns will talk about a new hygiene standard that aims to go beyond visual cleaning by incorporating microbiological control to identify invisible risks.

On November 5 the focus will be on technological innovation and people management. The session 'Smart Cleaning: Real Applications of Artificial Intelligence in the Professional Sector' will demonstrate how AI is already transforming the planning, execution and control of cleaning services through automation, autonomous cleaning, resource optimization, quality control and customer service.

Anna Baguena Sánchez, CEO of Vaj Business Partner and President of Asniclean, will speak about the culture of care and well-being as a response to the challenge of absenteeism in the sector - highlighting the importance of promoting equity, commitment and employee recognition.

The day will conclude with a session by Inmaculada Marcos, director of the food division at Vijusa, who will explain how the application of new technologies improves food safety through real-time monitoring of cleaning and disinfection processes.

On the final day of the event, November 6, there will be sessions organised by Quimeltia and ISSA around the themes of sustainability and environmental regulations.
