The winners of the prestigious Amsterdam Innovation Award 2024, organised by Interclean Amsterdam, will be announced on the opening day of the show - next Tuesday, May 14.

Always one of the most highly anticipated features events of the exhibition, the awards ceremony recognises and celebrates the the most innovative product, service or solution in the cleaning and hygiene industry in four different categories.

All Interclean Amsterdam exhibitors can compete to win. An international expert jury has selected 12 nominees (three nominees per category) who were invited to pitch their innovation to the Jury in Amsterdam in March. From these 12 nominees, four categories winner and one overall winner have been chosen.

Michelle Marshall, editor of ECJ and  AIA jury chairman added: "As usual with the Amsterdam Innovation Award, the jury was tasked with evaluating many diverse entries from all aspects of the cleaning sector.

"Speaking on behalf of the judging panel, I can say the scores were extremely close in all categories and the standard of entries was truly impressive. Congratulations to all the final nominees across the four categories!"

She concluded: "We now look forward to seeing all the nominated products when we get together in Amsterdam before the show, to decide on the category winners. And, of course, the overall winner."

Additionally there is a Visitors' Choice Award and a Cleaners' Choice Award.

Before the ceremony, Interclean Amsterdam gets off to a fitting start with a keynote speech entitled ‘Time for a Clean Start' by visionary and disruptive pioneer German Ramirez. He will give a thought provoking, inspiring and eye-opening ride through the status of transformation in the cleaning industry and its particular challenges, and help understand why change is not enough, what transformation means for the cleaning industry and how to approach the journey and lead in the current age and into the future.
