One of the biggest highlights of the exhibition is always the presentation of the Amsterdam Innovation Award, and this year's winner will be announced during a special ceremony on the opening day.

The list of finalists across the three categories has been announced - Kärcher with two nominations, Sealed Air Diversey Care with two nominations, Cleanfix, Vileda Professional, Newell Europe, Werner & Mertz Professional and SCA.

Cleanfix for the RA 660 Navi
The robot RA 660 Navi can be deployed where cleanliness and hygiene really matter and it has to be cleaned cost-effectively. With a 17ins cleaning path and hands-free operation, this agile scrubber cuts wastewater and chemicals by 85 per cent while increasing staff productivity. An intuitive touchscreen prompts users through the simple operating process.

Sealed Air Diversey Care for Augmented Reality: Suma Revoflow
Sealed Air Diversey Care Augmented Reality: Suma Revoflow is a smart application for mobile phones and tablets that uses Augmented Reality technology for customer support. Through device object recognition, the user of the app can self-train, self-troubleshoot and receive remote support through raising tickets directly with Diversey Care.

Kärcher for Connected Cleaning
Connected Cleaning is the Kärcher way of digital transformation of the cleaning industry. There are many applications. The company put together all essential parts and created the only proven overall management tool for BSCs, for machines and staff, as well as for quality checks. From March on it offers telematics as standard with many scrubber dryers, free of charge.

SCA for Tork EasyCube
Tork EasyCube is a cloud-based system with smart dispensers that provides real-time data allowing its users to confidently deliver a high level of service and anticipate cleaning and refill needs before they happen. The result is a new logic for washroom cleaning where cleaning schedules are being transformed into cleaning when and where it's needed.

The international jury has shortlisted nine final entries, three products per category. Category winners will be selected per category and one of them will be named the overall winner.
