Tennant's Orbio uses no chemical

The Orbio 5000-Sc is the latest in a series of technologies that use water to clean, without the use of any chemicals. Developed by Tennant, the Orbio 5000-Sc unit uses Orbio Split Stream technology to electrically restructure water and salt to create and store an environmentally friendly cleaning solution which can be dispensed in a variety of cleaning tools such as spray bottles, carpet extractors and scrubber dryers.
The system is claimed to clean most soils, including fats, proteins and organic oils. It automatically generates the cleaning solution on-site, reducing the environmental footprint associated with packaged conventional cleaners as well as the cost of manufacturing, packaging, transporting, storing, handling and disposing of chemicals.
