ISS wins pan-European facility services contract

Denmark-based facility services provider ISS has won a contract with pharmaceutical company Novartis for its sites in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Slovenia.
Based in Basel, Switzerland, Novartis has awarded ISS the delivery of integrated facility services at 22 sites across the four countries with effect from January 1 2013.
The contract will cover five sites in Switzerland, 11 sites in Germany, two in Austria and a further four in Slovenia. Many of them already have outsourced service provision through a number of different companies. This contract now brings all services under one provider for the first time.
