China Clean Expo, taking place in Shanghai next week, is teaming up with the World Toilet Organisation to create an onsite forum aimed at raising awareness of China's public health and promoting toilet culture across the country.

Experts from the sustainable sanitation sector will be giving speeches and speaking to visitors throughout the show.

The number of public toilets currently available in China is far from adequate and the condition of those that are available is completely unsatisfactory. In light of the country's rapid economic development however, the subject of toilet hygiene is rising up the agenda.
