The members of EUnited Cleaning, the pan-European association for the commercial cleaning machine industry, have appointed Markus Asch as its president. Asch is deputy chief executive officer of Alfred Kärcher, based in Germany.

He succeeds Bernd Heilmann, who resigned his position due to his retirement from Hako last year. Riccardo Raimondi of RCM and Lars Gjodsbol of Nilfisk-Advance are the vice presidents.

At its recent general meeting the EUnited board agreed on a number of new projects, including ‘green’ cleaning, labelling, global statistics, IPR protection, etc.
