WISAG Facility Service Holding in Germany has just published its results for 2021, recording an increase in turnover of four per cent to €1,223 billion.This organic growth, it says, was underpinned by a positive development in turnover in almost all areas of its service business.

"This success was only made possible by a strong, customer winning performance from our team," said director Michael Moritz.

"The coronavirus pandemic showed, particularly in the property services sector, that reliability and flexibility from the service provider are key factors in enabling our customers to maintain their core business even in times of crisis."

"The high quality of our customer relations along with our employees remain the key pillar of our success, which is why we continue to work on the improvement of staff support services and on the further development of personnel training schemes," added fellow director Martin Riebschläger.

Moritz sees the challenges of climate change and the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting requirements imposed on the property industry and large companies as an opportunity for the FM sector.

"Classic supplier relationships increasingly foster strategic partnerships which prioritise high quality and motivation," he said.
