Food group opts for IPC hand sanitiser
feb108.jpgAirest, one of Italy's largest food retail groups, has entered an agreement with IP Cleaning to use the company's Cleaning Point hand sanitation station at its sites around the country. The product has already been installed at Venice and Treviso airports, and in a number of motorway service stations owned by Airest.

The IPC Cleaning Point has been designed to be positioned in high traffic applications where soap and water are not readily available. It allows members of the public to cleanse their hands with gel throughout public buildings. The dispenser is made from antibacterial plastic and IPC recommends the use of Amuchina gel when refilling.

IPC president and managing director Gianfranco Cianci sees significant potential for the so-called 'totem'. "It is extremely relevant for use in areas such as hospitals, schools, clinics, cinemas, shopping centres, train stations and theatres - to name just a few."
