Chris Cracknell of cleaning contractor OCS and Asset Skills will speak on the value of training during the economic recovery, while Diversey’s Pedro Chidichimo will discuss long-term sustainability in the cleaning sector. Jimmy Hayes of building services group ISS will then address the challenge of encouraging young people to view cleaning as a career.

Also presenting at the event is politician Michael Portillo, who was a prominent figure in the Conservative government of the early 1990s and still plays an active part in the country’s politics today. He will be reflecting on his experiences from his career and offering advice on how businesses can best work with the new coalition government.

Cleaning Conference sponsors include Activeion, Nilfisk-Alto, ISS, Selden Research, Asset Skills, Diversey and the British Toilet Association.
